World of Vana'diel (version 2007)

Here is the original map of Vana'diel created by myself in 2007. With Seekers of Adoulin coming out and new lore that has been added between 2007 and now, this map is going to be completely redone from the ground up. It will include an updated far western continent as well as updated far southern continents.

The map features all the major continents that have been mentioned throughout quests, events, missions, Vana'diel history, and even Vana'diel Tribune.

A lot of what you see on this map was based on that research and careful observation. The size of the continents and their shapes were pure imagination and theory using the information at that time as a basis to create this map. As other areas open up to the players in Final Fantasy XI, the actual scope and size of Vana'diel will hopefully be revealed.

For now, you have the following landmasses:
The Middle Lands - Quon and Mindartia
The Near and Far East - Aradjiah
The Far West - Ulbuka
The Far South - Tsahya, Great Southern Empire (if it still exists), and what is not labeled-- Olzhirya and Garhada.
The Far North - Rhazowa (not labeled)
